Bormes les Mimosas

At the invitation of the Bormes Museum, I explored the village in summer and during carnival to witness the mimosas blooming. I drew the medieval village, its castle, wandered through its narrow streets, its parks and gardens, at La Favière, Cap Bénat, through the vineyards to the beaches... to reach Fort de Brégançon, the famous presidential residence. Between two sketches, I tasted Provençal specialties and the hospitality of the Borméans. It’s a drawn promenade that I propose throughout the pages, a picturesque wandering in this green setting on the Côte d’Azur.

An open-air exhibition in the village and carte blanche at the MHAB museum are open until November 3!
