Urban Sketching Symposium in Amsterdam

During the 10th Urban Sketchers Symposium in Amsterdam, I presented a lecture about my book "Lost Poblenou: a record of change" and the importance of sketching one’s everyday life.
The symposium gathered more then 1.000 sketching enthusiasts from all over the world. I was super proud to participate to it one more year.
Despite of the heat, we all have been charmed by the city, its architecture, its canals… I failed in love for the two art nouveau masterpieces: the Tuschinski Theater and the Amrath Hotel that I captured in my sketchbook.
And of course, I had the pleasure to meet old and new friends, to look at their drawings, to have late beers… and to share a night sketch cession capturing 2 Citroën DS parked in the old town.
What a party!
